Decomposition

Unattended death with decomposition means that a person has died for whatever reason and that they have not been discovered for some time.  Once the scene has been properly and thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated, odor control and elimination will begin.  There is absolutely no reason that the entire contents of someone's room or home should have to be removed and disposed of.

We feel that Crossroads' procedures for dealing with unattended deaths and associated odor control are more thorough and effective than others in this business.  Typically, odor control by other companies is just as expensive as the cleanup itself; often well into the thousands of dollars.  Our technique not only eliminates more airborne germs, viruses, and molds, etc., it is also more effective and affordable.

 When Cleanup is not enough:

Crossroads' motto of "Compassion in Crisis" is reinforced in a partnership with Victim Relief Ministries, an interdenominational  organization whose goal is to provide the appropriate physical, emotional and spiritual needs to the victims and families of violent crime or suicide. VRM services also have partnerships with various law enforcement agencies.  Until 1999 there was only help for the offenders and little help for the victims and families.  There was a "vacuum" after the trauma of the crime faded.  Because of our partnership with VRM, we can refer those in need for immediate assistance.
